PortraitPro 12 offers face-relighting technology

Anthropics Technology launched version 12 of its PortraitPro retouching software, featuring a new face-relighting capability for natural enhancement. The software includes several other new features and enhancements.

• Face relighting: Brings out the beauty or character of any face naturally.
• Face slimming: Takes the weight off that the camera puts on
• New generation skin enhancer: Retains natural skin texture when removing blemishes. The brush also detects edges automatically making it very fast and easy to use.
• Hair thickening, smoothing and recoloring: Improve the appearance of hair. Hair can be thickened and made glamorously smooth, recolored, or highlights added, all simply by moving sliders.
• Improved automatic facial feature finder: Only if facial features are accurately identified can great effects be instantly applied to faces.

This is the standalone version of the software and offers all of PortraitPro’s sophisticated face, skin and hair
touch-up and lighting facilities, but does not include RAW file support. Also, it does not include the Studio Edition’s plugin capabilities or the Studio Max Edition’s automatic ‘batch mode’ productivity features.

PortraitPro Studio 12
This is the mid range version of the software aimed at photographers who wish to work directly with RAW files and integrate the software with Lightroom®, Aperture or Photoshop® to speed workflow.

PortraitPro Studio Max 12
The top-end version. PortraitPro Studio Max offers maximum automation, minimum effort, and total creative control. Capable of automatically processing hundreds of photographs without human intervention, Studio Max is for those who require the highest quality enhancements to be automatically applied to large batches of photographs, while retaining total creative control.
