QNAP TS-x70 Pro Series Turbo NAS begins shipping

QNAP, the maker of network attached storage (NAS) gear announced the availability of the TS-x70 Pro series Turbo NAS, available in 4, 6 and 8-bay tower models, for home and small/home office use.

Powered by a Dual-Core Intel Core i3 3.3 GHz Processor, the TS-x70 Pro series is not only a powerful storage with raw capacity up to 32 TB, but also supports streaming with on-the-fly transcoding. The TS-x70 Pro series delivers unbeatable high system performance along with ultra-fast transferring speed and is specifically designed as a storage center for multimedia files for home theater, designers and video production houses.TS-x70 Pro pairs the high performance and scalability with cutting-edge technologies such as:

By connecting a TS-x70 Pro to a HDTV via HDMI, users can enjoy multimedia contents with 5.1 channel surround sound through the XBMC media player provided in the QNAP HD Station. By using the Photo Station, Music Station and Video Station, users can easily play, manage and share all of their multimedia files.
